NHS North East London – Modernising Pathology Programme
Programme manager and engagement lead for pathology modernisation and network development across NE London sector as part of wider NHS London programme. Includes baseline analysis, modelling, option development and assessment, business case and implementation plan. Partnership approach based on extensive engagement with hospitals, community services, GPs and Clinical Commissioning Groups to establish guiding principles and objectives and secure ownership of solutions.
Royal Free Hospital – Pathology Case for Change
Brief, objective review of an investment case for pathology services, in the context of the Trust’s emerging strategic vision and developments in North Central London. To provide external challenge of the assumptions underpinning the business case and test the validity of outputs, balancing costs and benefits in short and long term.
Serco Health – GSTS Pathology Joint Venture
Led development of the clinical and operational design and solution as core member of the Serco Health bid team for an innovative joint venture between Guy’s and St Thomas’ and Serco. Following a successful bid and implementation phase GSTS Pathology went live in 2009. Established links with leading centres in the US including Johns Hopkins, the Mayo Clinic and other academic centres in Chicago and Baltimore to develop a shared vision of a world class pathology service.
