Sue has a clinical, NHS management and more recently consultancy background. This gives her experience of both strategic service management and operational service delivery. Sue’s consultancy work includes clinical service management, service improvement, project management, strategic service planning, health planning for clinical services, business case development, PCT commissioning service redesign, primary care development, workforce planning and capacity planning for acute, primary and community services.
Sue has provided consultancy input into a wide range of projects across the UK including service improvement using lean techniques, PCT and acute estate reviews, strategic service planning, capacity planning, acute service reviews and business case development. Sue experience includes:
Ireland – Dublin Acute Hospitals
Clinical review of three Acute Trusts serving Dublin and its surrounding areas to review current service models, capacity plans, step up and step down services identifying areas for performance improvement, and development.
Development of a Strategic Service Development Plan to enable the Trust to review the current premises, service configuration and capacity levels, and to form a plan for the future estate to deliver an accommodation profile that meets service and population needs.
