Sustainable Development Goals

Each of the UN’s 17 SDGs set clear targets to be achieved by 2030. These targets present significant challenges for us all, but they also provide considerable business opportunities for those with the foresight and bravery to embrace them.

Measuring Sustainability

Prospectus’ Sustainable Impact Index (SII) is a key input to our Sustainable Corporate Strategy Development Process. SII is a secure online application containing a number of questions, which takes all staff between six to eight minutes to complete.

SII enables companies to objectively assess and measure their sustainable impact from four perspectives: Culture, Practice, Intent, Capacity.

Culture
Does your operating environment foster and support sustainable impact?
Intent
How committed is your management team to delivering sustainable impact?
Practice
What processes are in place to enable sustainable impact in your company?
Capacity
Do management and staff have the necessary knowledge, skills and capabilities to deliver sustainable impact?

It asks and answers the following four questions:

  • How sustainably aware, committed, and proactive is your business?
  • What do you need to do to grow profitability while increasing your sustainable impact?
  • How do you compare against others?
  • What areas do you need to build on or improve?
